Camille Jean Zurcher was born just after midnight on May 1st, 2010. She was 6 pounds 11 ounces and 19 inches long. She was a surprise because she wasn't due until May 22nd. Melissa had to be induced early because she had preeclampsia. Everything went well and both baby and mother are healthy and doing fine. I was so happy I was able to go to the hospital to meet little Camille so soon after her birth and I'm glad I got to hold her before I go off to China.

I was hoping that you would have time to write a blog so that when I got up this morning I would be able to see the new little Zurcher addition in full color.
Oh she is soo cute! I saw Melissa 2 days before and she was tiny and telling me how she still had 3 weeks to go, what a fun surprise! Can't wait to meet her!
Oh wow, nothing like a new baby. Congrats to you guys! And you have fun in China...be careful, and don't eat anything too weird. Brandon goes every year and he had to tell them to quit serving him "baby bird" soup! lol
